My netbook won't start up!?

My acer aspire 1 I guess cought a virus or something, but it turned off, now when I attempt to turn it on it gets to when it says windows with the little loading bar and no farther, safe mode dosnt work, command prompt won't let me type, and debug dosnt work, I'm running xp please help!
