How do stand by flights work?
I'm hoping to move to the UK this fall, but there have been some pretty serious delays in getting my student visa processed and I'm worried about finding an affordable flight, especially when I'm waiting so long to buy it and when I might have to change it/ push back my departure date. I've never flown stand by before, and have no idea what to expect. ... and if you have any ideas for other ways to find cheap flights, that'd be great, too. Thanks!
